Y Fflat is OUTSTANDING. Not only do we all want to return, but have recommended it to our friends. It is spacious, incredibly well-equipped and less than 5 minutes walk from the beach and 15 minutes walk from the castle (avoiding traffic). Sarah, the host, was lovely and superb communicating plenty of helpful information before and during the stay. It is apparent that a great deal of thought and care has gone into making the experience of staying in Y Fflat as enjoyable as possible. We arrived to find it spotless, with a welcome pack of locally-sourced goodies (milk, bread, coffee, Welsh cakes and eggs from Sarah's hens). When the WiFi faltered, to the dismay of our teenager, Sarah sorted it immediately. We were also made very welcome by Sarah's delightful family, so friendly and informative.

Emma,

The flat was lovely and well stocked. Perfect location and Sarah and her family were friendly, helpful and very welcoming! We can’t wait to stay again

Rachel,

Super flat, all you need, excellent instructions, visit ideas and places to eat. Freshly laid eggs, Welsh cake and also able to clear travel washing. Great location, wonderful beach, pubs and hosts!

Christine,

Friendly, clean and a lovely place. We really enjoyed our stay and wished we could stay longer.

Donna,

Lovely spacious apartment with loads of amenities and creature comforts. Excellent location near the village and a few minutes walk from the beach and castle. Incredibly welcoming and helpful hosts. Would stay again. Cheers

Tariq,

This is a really clean, well fitted, spacious flat in a great location, with lots of personal touches. The photos really don’t do justice to how good it is! Sarah is a great host and provided lots of information on the local area, and some nice local supplies for us for when we arrived. 26 Sep - 28 Sep 2020

Stephen,

Y Fflat is the perfect place It’s a home from home comfortable spacious and sparkling clean Recently renovated the kitchen and bathroom are modern and well equipped Sarah the host leaves a welcome pack including milk cake and ground coffee The sitting room is cosy and warm with nice touches like toys books and throws on the sofa to Cwtch when watching TV We found it peaceful and quiet overlooking the church ,the photos on the website don’t do it justice The family live next door there is some chatter from the children but they are delightful and were certainly no problem to us Our little dog settled in well and the space is dog friendly with sensible flooring The whole area is a haven for dogs and their owners Sarah was a generous host very welcoming and more than willing to spend time informing us about the local area and amenities There are 2 village pubs with outside areas and decent food and a local shop/cafe serving takeaways within 2 minutes walk from the property The beach is literally 5 minutes walk away as is the coastal park Llansteffan is a hidden gem on the stunning Wales coast we loved it and will be returning to Y Fflat 16 Sep - 19 Sep 2020

Maggie,

This is a modern, well equipped flat really close to the beach. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Sarah was a great host, cleaning toys to lend my daughter and giving local tips. Check in simple, communication fantastic. A wonderful holiday place. I imagine it'll be popular. We've already discussed staying again. 31 Jul - 5 Aug 2020

Isla,

Fantastic property with everything you could need for a self catering property. The living room in particular far exceeds the photos on the website, a lovely space which we were very comfortable in. The village itself is small but has everything you’d need and having the beach at the end of the road is wonderful. We will be returning! 24 Jul - 27 Jul 2020

We had a great time in Llansteffan. The property is well specced out with lots of towels, beddings, toys for the kids, and great outdoor space. Sarah is wonderful (and so is her family) they answered all of our questions and recommended some really great beach spots as well as places to eat and see. We will be back- thank you again. 12 Aug 2020

Dana R.,

We all loved our mini break at Llansteffan and Y Fflat Cottage, so much so that we're already booked for next year again. Sarah and her family are so lovely and welcoming and gave us many helpful hints about where to go and what to do. The cottage is immaculate and had everything we needed. The living area was spacious so we never felt on top of each other. The beaches are close enough to walk to and we fell in love with beautiful, peaceful Llansteffan. See you next year! 1 Aug 2020

Tanya S.,

Just got back from a week in y fflat in beautiful lansteffan carmarthenshire. The flat was immaculate, the beds soooo comfortable and everything you will need for your stay. The flat is self contained at the side of this beautiful victorian house right in middle of village. It is wonderful - part of a small holding with some chickens, sheep and friendly dogs which are kennelled away from flat *but i loved them coming to see me! The whole family are absolutely wonderful, mum sarah and hubby, 3 children aged 2 4 and 9, nana and grandpa live in bungalow attached to the main house the atmosphere is really friendly and relaxing and they are on hand for any needs and loads of information as have lived in the village all their lives. You can also have your own dog there and there is a private paddock to sit and enjoy in the grounds of the property which is nice. The beach is 5 minute walk and it is stunning. A couple of restaurants and a nice friendly local pub which also does pub grub. We visited Dylan Thomas Boathouse 20 mins from property in village of laughran a bigger village with more restuarants pubs tearooms etc. Boathouse was closed due to coronavirus but still enjoyed going to see if from outside. Would we go again yes yes yes without any doubt we will be back next spring. Thank you all and for the lovely tomatoes!! Bridget and David. Warwickshire.
